We boosted Clegg Food Projects’ organic search visibility with SEO-led content and UX improvements, resulting in a 93% rise in clicks, 92% more impressions and 42% uplift in top-ranking keywords.

Approach
We optimised existing pages and created new pages to improve rankings for key service offerings. We drafted copy and built landing pages for services including ‘gigafactory construction’, ‘clean room construction’, ‘advanced manufacturing’ and ‘brewery construction specialists’.
We have been writing in-depth blogs around industry keywords, answering as many related queries and long-tail keyword phrases as possible to improve rankings such as ‘food factory design trends’.
We reviewed the user experience (UX) of the site, conducted a thorough SEO audit, which analysed competitors and identified how to increase engagement rate across the site. We made recommendations on how to improve the UX and engagement rate for both desktop and mobile.

Ten keywords climbed a number of positions in Google and are now in position 1-5 including

As a result of this, we have seen an increase in website sessions and 56% of all traffic coming from organic search.
In the last six months, there has been a 93% increase in website clicks and 92% increase in website impressions. Keywords in position 1-5 have increased to 47, compared to 27 at the start of 2023, resulting in a 42.55% increase. Clegg Food Projects domain authority has also increased from 16 to 19.
