Gascoines needed to increase brand awareness and visibility for Southwell and Ravenshead keywords. In one year our SEO strategy increased keywords on page one of Google by 86%.

Our goal was to increase brand awareness within the Southwell and Ravenshead area, and the new homes available to buyers and tenants – in turn increasing the click through rate.

Approach
We identified Gascoines was not receiving many impressions for Southwell and Ravenshead queries, due to not having a dedicated page for the key locations. To raise awareness and increase visibility for properties available in the target areas, we created two new landing pages on the website and added to the navigation.
One landing page targeted the keyword ‘houses for sale Southwell’ and the other ‘houses for sale Ravenshead’. Both pages include a description about the area, properties available, frequently asked questions, contact details and optimised meta title and descriptions.

Results
Through a robust SEO strategy, we significantly boosted Gascoines’ keyword rankings, securing first-page positions on Google for several high-value search terms. Notably, ‘Houses for sale Southwell’ jumped from position 83 to position 4, while ‘Houses for sale Ravenshead’ climbed 36 places to position 5. ‘Southwell homes’ also saw major progress, rising from position 97 to position 4. In total, Gascoines is now ranking for 69 keywords on the first page of Google — up from just 37 in January 2024.
This uplift in keyword performance has driven tangible results. Total clicks to the website have increased by an impressive 18%, with more than 93,000 users now clicking through to the Southwell and Ravenshead pages.
